Fundraising & Future Goals

The College of Business awarded the first James Abbott Hoeven Scholarship in the spring of 1996. At that point in time, the endowment of the Scholarship was valued at around $35,000. Since that time, Scholarships have been awarded every year.

The endowment has grown substantially over the past seven years, due in large part to the generous support of the Hoeven Games. Golfers, Sponsors and Donors have contributed to the growth of the endowment in excess of $130,000. The recent market conditions make it that much more important to maintain the base endowment through additional contributions.

The Hoeven family appreciates your support, which continues to surface in so many different ways; from direct donations and sponsoring of Hoeven Games events to volunteering and participating in the Games.
